Does the High-Bright have the same or more range than RC Plus with Inspire 3?

In FCC mode, the High-Bright should have more range than the RC Plus, with higher gain in it's TX for control, plus the ability to separate the antennas and get them above head height. In CE/SRRC/MIC mode, they both have the same limits. In reality, we have found that the Inspire 3 throttles the transmission data rate to both RC Plus and High-bright simultaneously to keep connection. So you should have connection on both until you don't have any connection at all.
